The heat and the rising temperature in L.A. left me w/ no choice but to stay cool & cozy in my lil' pad.
And not to mention the craze of World Cup Fever that kept my eyes glued to the TV set all day long.
Yupperz... That was my schedule for the entire weekend.
Isn't that fun or wha'?
Turned my beb Tia down for a movie date.
And not attendin' to my "Cuzz" graduation.
(Guilty? Erm... Not really... *Evil Smirk*)

For some odd reason even though it might seem like I am livin' a pretty low life,
I am content w/ the force inside of me.
Over the past months, the weight of school and work had totally used up my energy.
In fact, I hardly had enough beauty sleep or a second to sit on a stool.
Now that summertime is here, the thought of havin' only one class soothes my nerves.
And the need for a two- week break relaxes my intensity.
The most essential thing is the revival of the ol' Shaz, the happy- go- lucky chic, the Sunflower chic? (Haha!)
With a close observation of my present pics, my good ol' smile is back.
Don't you think I look relaxed & carefree when I'm single & has the freedom to mingle? =)

Two weeks without my gf.
Tuesday, we set aside some quality girlfriend time together.
She recommended me The Wasabi House.

I ordered the Lunch Box Special.
While she ate Chicken Curry.
Yummy! The food was tasty.
I treated her lunch.
She treated the sticker pics and boba dessert.
It was a splendid afternoon!

Bon Voyage, Luis !!!

A member of the Rieber Crew is leavin' for Guatemala on Sunday mornin'.
He's on vacation for two weeks.
By the time he gets back, it'll be time for me to report back to work.
I have the next two weeks off from work.

Went for a late night movie w/ Luis @ West Covina.
We planned 2 see the Fast & the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift
but stupid Teddy bought only one ticket & thereafter, the time slot was sold out.
Luis & myself had no other choice & watched The Lake House instead.
Some romance flick.
It was sweet but pointless, really...
I enjoyed myself w/ Luis though.
We hung out w/ Teddy, his gf, & his friends after the movie.

In the passenger seat next to Luis,
I was quite haunted by the limited memories of that asshole.
That asshole made me feel pressured.
With Luis, I feel comfortable & open.

Summer @ Rieber:

Advantage- I'll be workin' w/ the Crew again. And more than likely, I'll be side-by-side w/ my beloved Malo.

Disadvantage- I don't kno' when but that asshole is workin' there too. Perhaps for a week or two. I don't wanna face his ass again cause I might lose my cool & be abusive towards him. His ass deserves that treatment for doing me like that. Like Maloalways says, "I will fuck him up!" Lol! I love his expression ev'ry time he says that. That's why they call him Malo. (BAD in Spanish)

When Summer awaits...

My Forbidden Feeling:

I've been denying this passionate feeling for months now and it's time for me to break the ice. This intense feeling started to occur on my last day @ Rieber Hall. I realized how important he is in my life. I don't wanna lose him as a mentor, a homeboy & a big brother. As much as I long to be his, I know I can't cause I doubt we can be together. I can never admit to him this forbidden feeling cause I don't wanna jeopardize this bond of ours, our friendship. Therefore, I shall contain my emotions.

About the Dude:

Why the feelings?
- He is always there for me since the day I met him.
- He notices my presence everywhere.
- He comes to my rescue pronto without questions asked.

- He calmed me down when I almost passed out from the bleeding.
- He dropped me off at the Emergency Room.
- He touched my heart when he gave me a bundle of flowers.
- He taught me the game of Spades.
- He taught me auto vehicles.

- Karina told me that rumors have been circulating around that I have a boyfriend @ Rieber Hall. I wonder who she's referring to cause I'm coo w/ ev'ryone.

I have always been a materialistic lady, looking out for every little flaw in a guy. Instead this time, I am through with that & couldn't spot a flaw in this guy. Why didn't I sense these emotions before I left? All the hints? All the rumors in the house? I don't know... I guess I'll try to act normal around him. And look forward to the Summer, to see what's in store for me...

It's almost OVER!!!

Oh yea... The Spring Semester is almost comin' 2 a close end!!! Kiss goodbye 2 History Scholars' & Accounting classes... And hello 2 Summer Session... But first, I have 2 survive the days of finals. Like other students, I am going through a stressed phase right now. You see... I have 2 work five days a week. And I have finals on Wednesday and Thursday. How am I to balance revision & work? Holy shyt...

Finals' Week:
Monday- Last day of History Regular Class
Tuesday- Mornin': Accountin' Study Session
(Don't forget 2 see Professor Brookins after class 2 clarify quiz grade)
Wednesday- History Scholars' Finals from 8 to 11a.m.
Thursday- Accountin' Finals from 8 to 11a.m.

*Monday to Thursday- Work @ Rendezvous Restaurant from 4 to 10: 30p.m.*

Summer Session '06:
- Introduction to Contemporary Modern Dance
- Introduction to Speech

It is a DO- OR- DIE situation 4 me. Note 2 self: Get plenty of sleep & nutritious food.

To- Do- List (After Finals):
- Financial Aid Office and fill in forms of requirements for Federal Aid.
- Make an appointment 2 see the Scholars' School Counselor.
